In 2012, Kevin joined the Ohio Machine, where he played two games before being traded to the Charlotte Hounds. Kevin Graduated from Notre Dame, where he was a two-time captain in 2011.
The Lizards add depth to their face-off abilities with the addition of Andrew Hennessey. Hennessey graduated from Bryant University in 2010. After graduation, he spent two years with the Denver Outlaws, before moving to the Charlotte Hounds for the 2012 season.
Parker McKee remains with the Lizards for the 4th straight season. McKee graduated from Duke in 2010 and has played with the Lizards ever since. McKee racked up 25 ground balls in each of the past two seasons, playing in nine games for the Lizards
The Lizards add another former Cornell player with midfielder Chris Langton. Langton graduated in 2012, playing with Lizards teammates Max Seibald and Rob Pannell in college.
Goalie Joey Kemp joins the Lizards after recording a 69% save percentage in 2012 with the MLL Championship Chesapeake Bayhawks.
Lizard’s head coach Joe Spallina is very happy with the draft results, “We went into the draft with the goal of acquiring MLL caliber players, guys who can compete and improve training camp and supply our team with the necessary pieces to help win a championship. We feel we filled all of our concerns and were able to provide MLL depth at many key positions!”
