Lizards Announce 23 Man Protected List

The Long Island Lizards of Major League Lacrosse announced its 23 man protected roster on Friday September 21^st. The Lizards made it to the playoffs in 2012 before a disappointing loss to the Denver Outlaws.  The Lizards were able to protect a core of contributing players including Rookie of the Year  Matt Gibson, Goalie of the Year Drew Adams; All MLL Midfielder Max Seibald and All MLL Face Off man Greg Gurenlian. The Lizards were also able to protect the rights to two of their 2012 Collegiate Draftees Rob Pannell and Charlie Streep.

“We are excited about what we accomplished last season, but we are even more excited about the group we have going forward to build around for next year” says Lizards Head Coach Joe Spallina.
