GARDEN CITY, N.Y. (Jul. 3, 2017) – The New York Lizards will be turning back the clock on Thursday, Jul. 20 at the team’s 7 p.m. contest with the Boston Cannons. Fans who arrive at the gates of Shuart Stadium at Hofstra University will be treated to a celebration of the 1980’s as the Lizards, in conjunction with Northwell Health, present “80’s Night.”
The night’s festivities will include a halftime performance from renowned pop sensation of the ‘80s and multi-platinum recording artist
Tiffany. Perhaps most well-known for her 1987 cover hit “I Think We’re Alone Now,” Tiffany’s performance will be the highlight of the evening; that said, there are several other 80’s-themed showcases going on including:
· Fan zone contests featuring ‘80s-themed toys such as the Rubik’s Cube and Hackysack.
· The greatest hits of the 1980’s played all night long and mashed into a routine performed by the New York Lizards Dancers.
· And other exciting events!
In addition to the festivities, the first 1,000 fans through the gates will get a drawstring bag courtesy of Northwell Health. So, what are you waiting for?
